OXFORDSHIRE County Council’s deputy leader Rodney Rose said he was disappointed not to be invited to a Government minister’s visit.
Cllr Rose spoke out after yesterday’s visit to Oxford by Dan Rogerson, a Lib Dem minister in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

Mr Rogerson was taken on a tour of Abingdon and North Hinksey Oxford West and Abingdon Lib Dem prospective parliamentary candidate Layla Moran to see the impact of flooding.
Cllr Rose said: “I do feel like we should have been invited, otherwise it seems to just be a party-political move.”
Constituency organiser Will Griffiths said: “If Rodney wished to do so he could contact Dan in his official capacity as a minister at DEFRA and look to arrange an official ministerial visit if that would be of interest to him.”
On the visit, Ms Moran said: “I think we need a plan which looks at the long-term and also the whole of Oxfordshire, not just Oxford.”
