A 22-year-old man has appeared in court accused of attacking a police officer with a car.
Tabase Ahmed, of Park Road, is charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent after a driver reversed their car at an officer in the town earlier this month.
He is also charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
Ahmed appeared at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was released on bail to appear at Oxford Crown Court on May 12.
