Olivia Parsons, 21, of Michaelis Road, Thame, admitted drink-driving in Churchill Crescent, Thame, on November 9. Had 158 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 micrograms. Fined £200, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

James Read, 27, of Druids Walk, Didcot, admitted stealing number plates from a Ford Ka in Orchard Close, Didcot, on March 26. Given a nine-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Stephen Cooney, 45, of Henry Taunt Close, Headington, Oxford, admitted shoplifting food worth £21.80 from Sainsbury’s in Banbury Road, Oxford, on March 25. Fined £50, £21.80 compensation, and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Jed Denton, 20, Underhill Circus, Barton, admitted fraud by false representation at Oakfield Industrial Estate, Eynsham, on March 15. Fined £100 and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Leonard Stevens, 47, of Gwyneth Road, Oxford, admitted theft by finding after stealing a salt and pepper pot worth £5 from the Ock Mill, Marcham Road, Abingdon, on March 27. Given an absolute discharge.

Mark Taylor, 48, of no fixed address, admitted stealing fragrances worth £148 from Debenhams in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on March 27. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.

Robert Wells, 36, of North Way, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence at the Britannia pub in London Road, Headington, Oxford, on January 1. Also admitted criminal damage to a garden gate in Harefields, Oxford, on February 22 and two counts of resisting a constable in the execution of their duty. Community order made with alcohol treatment and supervision requirements. Restraining order also made. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs.

Also admitted assault by beating in Oxford on December 9. Curfew requirement made for two months. Told to pay £150 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.

Peter Webb, 39, of Church Road, Sandford-on-Thames, Oxford, admitted damaging beer pumps belonging to the Bullnose Morris pub in Watlington Road, Oxford, on December 9. Also admitted assault by beating in Oxford on December 9. Community order made and told to do 120 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Christopher Welch, 28, of Druids Walk, Didcot, admitted drink-driving in Grenoble Road, Oxford, on December 20. Had 111 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £405, a £45 victims’ surcharge, and £795 costs. Banned from driving for 24 months.

Kevin Banks, 37, of Leiden Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted stealing dog treats worth £20.93 in Atkyns Road, Headington, Oxford, on March 12. Given a four-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months because of his previous convictions.

Ruth Smith, 56, of Withington Court, Abingdon, admitted breaching a restraining order by harassment at Bridge Farm Close, Grove, Wantage, by contacting someone she was banned from contacting 266 times between March 21 and April 16. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

John Loveridge, 23, of Tenacre Caravan Park, Sandford-on-Thames, Oxford, admitted causing criminal damage worth £300 to a window owned by Oxford City Council and contacting a person he was banned from contacting by a restraining order in Horspath Road, Oxford, on March 18. Also admitted possessing cannabis in Tenacre Caravan Park, Sandford-on-Thames, on March 20 and committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court for harassment on March 3. Given 38-week prison sentence because it was the fourth breach of a restraining order and children were at his victim’s home.

Matthew Stainiszewski, 35, of Barry Avenue, Bicester, admitted exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Ardley Road, Middleton Stoney, on October 12. Fined £400 and told to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given six points on driving licence.

Banbury Magistrates' Court

William Huon, 25, of Horspath Driftway, Oxford, was convicted of failing to provide information identifying a driver suspect of an offence to Thames Valley Police between May 15 and June 14 in Banbury. Also admitted the same offence between May 17 and June 14. Fined a total of £1,200 and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £170 costs. Banned from driving for six months.

Ian Bye, 38, of Croft Road, Marston, Oxford, admitted drink driving on the A34 at Wendlebury, Bicester, on March 26. Also admitted driving without insurance. Had 58 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £80 costs and banned from driving for 16 months.

Also admitted stealing one bottle of CK One fragrance, worth £52, from Debenhams in Banbury on March 29. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Given a Community Order with 40 hours unpaid work in the next 12 months to be supervised by a police officer. Ordered to pay £149.99 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Given a community order requiring 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months, to be supervised by an officer. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
