MISS Oxfordshire contestants showed the boys how it’s done at the weekend in a range of charity challenges.

The girls took on the Oxford United Youth Team during a family fundraiser for the Children’s Society held at Oxford City FC’s Marsh Lane ground on Saturday.

They competed in events including a penalty shoot-out, an It’s a Knockout obstacle course and even tried their hands at Sumo wrestling in huge padded fat suits.

Contestant Hannah Everett, 17, from Hazeldene Close, in Eynsham, said they would continue to raise money for charity right up to the Miss Oxfordshire 2014 final.

She said: “At the start I think we all felt a little bit awkward, but we soon got into it and it was really good fun.”

This year’s Miss Oxfordshire final will be held at the Witney Lakes Resort, in Downs Road, Witney, on April 11.
