Recycling for longer

First published in News

Waste recycling sites in Oxfordshire are to open until 8pm on Thursdays from next month over the summer.

They are currently open from 8am to 5pm every day but the council says it wants to make use of the lighter evenings. Cabinet member for recycling David Nimmo-Smith said: “We get over one million visits every year at our recycling centres.

“By opening for longer during the spring and summer people can avoid the busy weekends.”
