Former Banbury School principal Anita Higham is to lead a public forum for NHS users in the county’s north.
The principal from 1985 to 1998 has been elected as chairman of Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group’s (OCCG) North Locality Public Forum, which advises GPs on patient priorities.
She said: “My main aim is to forge closer links with GP commissioners to ensure patient views are heard loud and clear.”
The OCCG decides on NHS funding.
