Chiltern Railways was the UK’s most punctual rail operator in February, according to research by Network Rail.
The figures show 86.1 per cent of Chiltern Railways trains were on time from February 2 to March 1, against a national average of 66.3 per cent.
Andrew Munden, operations director at Chiltern, said: “These results reinforce our commitment to providing a punctual service. Whilst it is a great achievement, it is important not to be complacent.”
