Also admitted committing a further offence during the period of a suspended sentence made on April 18 for racially or religiously aggravated common assault. Community order made with 120 hours of unpaid work and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

David Tinson, 34, of Chestnut Drive, Ascott-under-Wychwood, admitted stealing a Visa debit card on November 21 in Chestnut Drive, Ascott-under-Wychwood, near Chipping Norton. Also admitted fraud by false representation on November 21 at Lloyds Bank, Market Square, Witney, by withdrawing £290 cash. Community order made with a 10-day activity requirement, a supervision requirement and a prohibited activity requirement, meaning he is not to enter any betting shops for 12 months. Also told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Neil Anderson, 46, of Lewington Close, Great Haseley, convicted of failing to provide notification of a transfer of a vehicle to a person who is not a vehicle trader on August 17 in Oxfordshire. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £90 costs.

Iris Appleby, 62, of Chowns Close, Thame, admitted keeping a vehicle on a public road that was unlicensed in Chowns Close, Thame, on August 10. Fined £66, ordered to pay vehicle excise back-duty of £18.34 and £90 costs.

Samson Biddle, 70, of Queens Road, Carterton, admitted drink-driving in Burford Road, Carterton, on February 11. Had 63 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 36-month driving ban and fined £150. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

Matthew McKechnie, 28, of Winchester Road, Oxford, admitted stealing meat worth £29.77 from Tesco in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on February 25. Also admitted common assault in Magdalen Street on the same date, and committing a further offence while subject to a community order made on October 4 for theft. Community order made with a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and supervision requirement. Told to pay £120 compensation and a £60 victims’ surcharge.

Daniel Mogford, 33, of Norris Road, Upper Arncott, near Bicester, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Banbury Police Station in Warwick Road, on January 17. Also admitted failing to stop when directed by a police officer or traffic warden on January 17 in Ambrosden, near Bicester. Community order made with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement and a supervision requirement. Given a 36-month driving ban and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

Richard O’Rourke, 41, of Rotary Way, Banbury, admitted making off without payment on July 13 at Barwood Court, Rotary Way, Banbury, to avoid paying £39.55 for a taxi journey. Community order made with an activity requirement, a supervision requirement and 150 hours of unpaid work. Also told to pay £39.55 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.

Ricky Brash, 27, of Middleton Road, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to two internal doors and a front door lock belonging to Sanctuary Housing in Bretch Hill, Banbury, on December 1. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £300 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Daniel Hanwell, 20, of Marlborough Place, Banbury, admitted stealing three memory sticks, worth £30, from Wilkinsons in Bridge Street, Banbury, on February 6. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £30 compensation and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Laura Washington, 21, of Broughton Road, Banbury, admitted drink-driving on the A361 in Chipping Norton on February 6. Had 52 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, over the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 15 months.

Luke Long, 24, of Oxford Road, Bletchingdon, Kidlington, admitted criminally damaging a door belonging to Cherwell District Council in Poolside Close, Banbury, on February 2, while subject to a suspended sentence made by Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on August 14 for assault by beating and intimidating a witness. Suspended sentence activated, sent to prison for 18 weeks, and given a two-year supervision order. Ordered to carry out 210 hours of unpaid work in the next year. Also ordered to pay £200 compensation and £85 costs.
