The trial of a police officer accused of stealing crash victims’ details to refer them to accident claim solicitors will continue on Monday.

Pc Sugra Hanif would allegedly note down personal information of people involved in car crashes as part of what prosecutors described as a £26,000 criminal enterprise.

Hanif, 27, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, denies obtaining and disclosing personal data from the force command and control systems and conspiracy to commit misconduct in a public office. The trial continues.
