FLOODING: Rail passengers suffer delays and frustration
Updated 1:33am Friday 10th January 2014 in News
Rail commuters were forced to put up with another frustrating day of delays and cancellations yesterday.
First Great Western ran a shuttle service between Oxford and Didcot due to flood water on the tracks at Redbridge, while CrossCountry suspended its services between Oxford and Reading due to the same problem and ran only one train an hour between Oxford, Banbury and Birmingham.
FGW operated a special timetable on the Cotswold Line.
