LET’S hold another meeting. Words we all want to hear, right? Right – at least so it seems.
The county’s NHS clinical commissioning group might seem like an opaque body that is little understood.
Perhaps so – but it is taking steps to speak to as many people as possible about changes to its services.
It has held a series of public meetings across Oxfordshire to talk through where it is going in the future and how it should spend its budget – and set up another meeting to give people a further opportunity to have a say.
Managers cannot guarantee that all Oxfordshire’s health services will be spared the axe, yet they are at least communicating. Sometimes, it’s good to talk.
