A national mortgage rescue service run in North Oxfordshire by Cherwell District Council will end in March.
The council, along with the Citizens’ Advice Bureau and the Green Square Group housing association, ran the scheme which helped eight households in the last financial year and another eight so far in the current year.
Debbie Pickford, Cherwell’s lead member for housing, said: “These households have mainly transferred from being homeowners to being housing association tenants, enabling them to begin to deal with their financial difficulties, providing stability and preventing homelessness.”
Anyone who needs help should call the council on 01295 227004.
