Jobs target beaten

The number of new jobs created across Cherwell between July and September has smashed a target for the entire year.

Cherwell District Council said 330 jobs were created over the summer, mainly due to the opening of Bicester’s £70m town centre redevelopment Pioneer Square.

The target was 200.
