A man died and two others were seriously injured following a three-vehicle smash in Woodcote yesterday.
Police were called at 12.40pm following a collision between a refuse lorry and two cars near The Oratory School.
A passenger in one of the cars was taken to hospital, but later died. His next of kin were being traced last night.
Another man was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment, while a third man was airlifted to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.
The roads surrounding the collision scene were closed for a number of hours.
