MOTORISTS taking advantage of faded yellow lines to park free of charge in Banbury are being warned police will be out in force to issue fines.
Over the summer months, officers have been unable to issue fines in High Street, George Street, Marlborough Road and Albert Street because the yellow lines were not clear.
But Oxfordshire County Council has repainted the markings and police are now regularly patrolling the hotspots for illegally parked cars.
