A TEN-year-old boy is being treated for a serious head injury after a collision in Didcot last night.
Paramedics were called to Oxford Crescent in the town at about 5.30pm to reports a child and a black Nissan Micra had collided.
Last night an ambulance spokesman said the boy was eight-years-old but the police later said he was ten.
He was taken to John Radcliffe hospital, Oxford, where he is receiving treatment for a serious head injury.
Oxford Crescent was closed for a number of hours.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Bryan Smith of Bicester Roads Policing on the non-emergency number 101.
