  • Benjamin Pollock, 26, of Hillside Cottages, Stratford Road, near Banbury, admitted drink driving in Warwick Road, Banbury, on June 22. Had 67 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given an 18-month driving ban and fined £110. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

 

  • Megan Davis, 20, of Easington Road, Banbury, admitted stealing a bottle of Hugo Boss aftershave worth £45 from Debenhams in Castle Quay, Banbury, on June 7. Fined £160 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

 

  • Richard Smith, 28, of Burwell Drive, Witney, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Kingfisher Drive, Witney, on December 23. Also admitted possessing a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of a gas, namely a pepper spray, in Burwell Drive, Witney, on December 24. Community order made with a 12-week curfew requirement and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

 

  • Piotr Witukiewicz, 34, of Oxford Road, Bodicote, near Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Banbury on June 21 and committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on November 8, 2012, for being drunk and disorderly. Fined £125 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

 

  • Adrian Fannon, 34, of Evenlode, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior with intent to cause fear of, or provoke, unlawful violence on September 27 in High Street, Banbury. Also admitted stealing confectionary worth £4.99 from Martins Newsagents in Orchard Way, Banbury, on December 20, confectionary worth £38.94 from Martins Newsagents in Orchard Way, Banbury, on November 7 and six packs of Gillett Fusion razors and aftershave from Co Op in Chedworth Drive, Witney, on April 4. Community order made with a six-month alcohol treatment course requirement and a supervision requirement. Told to pay £100 costs.

Bethany Green, 21, of Roman Way, Bicester, admitted stealing jewellery worth £3,000 and X Box games and DVDs worth £300 from a house in Chesterton, on August 1. Also admitted fraud by false representation in Chesterton, on February 20. Community order made with a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and a supervision requirement. Told to pay £660 compensation and a £60 victims’ surcharge.

 

  • Jamie Richardson, 20, of St Michaels Close, Fringford, admitted stealing jewellery worth £3,000 from a house in Chesterton and X Box Games and DVDs from a house in Chesterton, Bicester, on August 1. Fined £360 and told to pay £660 compensation and a £36 victims’ surcharge.

 

  • Duncan Wilson, 31, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted speeding in Manor Road, Woodstock, on October 14. Given a six-month driving ban. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs.

 

  • Peter Murton, 32, of Farmers Close, Witney, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Stanton Harcourt, on June 15. Fined £150 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

 

  • James Thomson, 46, of Moorland Road, Witney, admitted driving without due care and attention on the A44, Chipping Norton on March 27. Fined £425 and told to pay a £43 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given nine points on his driving licence.

 

  • Paul Hollingworth, 26, of St Johns Court, Calthorpe Road, Banbury, convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Calthorpe Street, Banbury, on November 25. Given an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with a 12-month supervision requirement and three-month curfew requirement. Told to pay £500 compensation, an £80 victims’ surcharge and £500 costs.

 

  • Tyrone Lewis, 35, of Stoke Lyne convicted of causing danger to road users in Banbury Road, Bicester, by seizing a car’s handbrake on December 24. Given a 12-week sentence suspended for 12 months with an alcohol-related aggression course and a supervision requirement. Told to pay £509.44 compensation, a £75 victims’ surcharge and £750 costs.

 

  • Lorenzo Mighty, 55, of Harlech Close, Banbury, admitted drink driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence in High Street, Banbury, on May 3. Had 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted aggravated vehicle taking in Banbury on the same date. Given an 18-month driving ban and fined £110. Community order made with 180-hour unpaid work requirement and told to pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

 

  • Stephen Witham, 59, of The Beeches, Chipping Norton, admitted causing criminal damage to a packet of mince and a leaflet stand in Sainsbury’s in Chipping Norton, two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, and assault by beating on January 25. Community order made with an alcohol treatment requirement and a six-month supervision requirement. Told to pay £52.50 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

 

  • Marcus Giovanoni, 36, of Asquith Road, Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted assault by beating and causing criminal damage worth between £200 and £300 to a front door in Corn Street, Witney, on March 22. Restraining order made banning contact with victim and banning entry to Windrush Valley Road, Witney, for two years.
