- Ryan Lowe, 38, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted failing to attend a follow-up drugs assessment on August 24. Also admitted failing to surrender to magistrates on September 3 and committing an offence while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge. Given 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.
- Julie Lawrence, 64, St Nicholas Road, Wallingford, admitted drink-driving on September 7 in High Street, Chalgrove. Had 56 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35. Fined £135 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £15 and £100 costs. Given 12-month driving ban.
- James Johnston, 23, of Bluebell Way, Carterton, admitted assault by beating in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on May 14. Community order made with 160 hours of unpaid work. Told to pay £100 compensation and £150 costs.

Another conditional discharge. Magistrates in Oxford must be totally bonkers. All this teaches us is crime in Oxford DOES pay.
