UP TO 25 county jobs have been saved after a fashion retailer was bought out of administration.
Republic, which has stores in Cornmarket Street, Oxford and Castle Quay, Banbury, has been snapped up by Sports Direct International.
The Sports World group – founded by Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley – bought 116 shops and stock, along with Republic’s head office in Leeds, its websites and brands.
