SCHOOLchildren have been putting the finishing touches to their show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Pupils from Deddington Primary School will take to the stage at St Peter and St Paul Church, in Church Road, Deddington, near Bicester, today and tomorrow.
Joseph is being played by 10-year-old Joe Sydenham, and during the performance pupils will belt out tunes such as Any Dream Will Do.
Joe said: “I auditioned for Pharoah as I thought it would be a good part. Playing Joseph really feels amazing.”
About 150 students, from years one to six, will take part in the show.
Alicia Rumsby, the school’s director of performing arts, said: “I make sure that each one gets a chance to come to the front, but the main principle that I try to instil is that it’s all about the whole cast and school coming together as a team.”
Tickets cost £5 and under-11s go free.
