A former antiques dealer has been convicted of running a cannabis factory.
Leslie Ballard, 59, of Broughton Road, Banbury, was convicted yesterday of producing a Class B drug by a unanimous jury verdict.
Gulfam Yousaf, 39, of Chestnut Road, Birmingham, and Zafar Iqbal, 35, of Church Road, Birmingham, were both acquitted of the same charges.
A five-day trial at Oxford Crown Court heard that 87 cannabis plants were discovered in a building in Pepper Alley, Banbury, on April 24, 2011. Ballard was remanded in custody to be sentenced in March.
