Jobs saved as HMV stays open

JOBS at Oxfordshire’s two HMV stores have been saved after it was revealed both will stay open.
The Cornmarket Street, Oxford, and Castle Street, Banbury, outlets were not among the 66 UK stores to be closed by administrators Deloitte yesterday.
The music giant went into administration last month.
The news that the stores will stay open comes after the administrators agreed that gift tokens and vouchers bought before the group failed would still be honoured.
