THE case against a Banbury man charged with being almost five times over the drink-driving limit – the highest alcohol reading in Thames Valley during a Christmas clampdown – has been adjourned.
Banbury magistrates yesterday put back the case of Marcin Leja, of Rye Close, to February 11.
The 33-year-old was arrested on December 12 at 11.30pm and accused of having 168 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.
