  • "Well Well what a surprise theres to be no inquiry!
I suppose if there was it would just be a totl waste of time as the IPCC are known to be biaes and will never blame the police anyway so there would be no point.
If this was a member of the public there would without doubt be a formal inquiry and a accustaion of dangerous driving!!
Seems strange when it has just been highlighted that our local police force
have many officers found of speeding recently!!
Yet another cover up by Thames Valley Police...shame on them!"

No inquiry into police collision

N OXON: The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) will not investigate into a crash involving a police car in Deddington.

On Monday, a red Nissan car and the police car, which was responding to an emergency, collided at a crossroads along the A4260 at about 2pm.

The police car was responding to a report of a fear for personal welfare, but police declined to give further details of that incident.

An investigation into the incident is being conducted by Thames Valley Police’s roads policing unit since the IPCC only becomes involved in the case of serious injuries or fatalities.

Both police officers were uninjured and the man in the Nissan suffered minor injuries.
