THE River Cherwell from Lower Heyford down to Cherwell Bridge has been put on Flood Warning by the Environment Agency.
The warning, which included Rousham, Enslow, Thrupp and Hampton Poyle, means flooding of properties is expect and immediate action is required.
The agency said: “Rivers levels on the River Cherwell have risen again in response to the rainfall which has fallen overnight and this morning.
“Property flooding can be expected for those properties close to the river as a result."
