TRAINS on the Cotswold Line between Oxford and Worcester are about to resume after an inspection train passed safely along a flooded section of track.
Services were suspended due to flooding around Moreton-in-Marsh station, just across the county boundary in Gloucestershire, caused by heavy overnight rain in the Cotswolds.
An engineering train travelling from Worcester towards Oxford has travelled through the area without problems and passenger services will resume shortly, although delays can still be expected.
A shuttle service will run between Oxford and Worcester until 3pm, then normal services will operate for the rest of the day.
