James Corden has teamed up with Arnold Schwarzenegger to form the ultimate on-screen duo, recreating Arnie’s 40-year career in a six-minute sketch.

The Late Late Show presenter welcomed the 67-year-old actor as one of his guests and made sure the audience were familiar with some of his biggest hits at the cinema by acting out famous scenes from 17 of his best-known movies.

James and Arnie ran through scenes from Conan The Barbarian, Commando, Escape Plan, Total Recall, The Running Man, Kindergarten Cop, Last Action Hero and Jingle All The Way.

In one memorable moment, James donned some skimpy underwear and a dark wig to perform a sexy dance for Arnie’s True Lies character, while a spoof of Junior saw him stuffing a balloon up his guest’s costume for the comedy about a pregnant man.

James played Batman in Batman And Robin while Arnie sprayed him with silly string, and the talk show host turned alien for a scene from Predator.

Pumping Iron included known strong man Arnie lifting a bar bell while James struggled to keep up with much smaller dumbbells, and as both men held up pictures of Expendables stars on sticks, they made a joke at the expense of the film franchise.

Arnie asked: “Are we doing Expendables one, two or three?” prompting James to ask: “What’s the difference?”

The action star replied: “I don’t know, I never saw any of them.”

And in Twins, they gave a brief rendition of The Coasters’ song Yakety Yak complete with dance moves.

Of course, the montage included Arnie’s best-known films, The Terminator and Terminator 2, with both men ending the sketch by saying his character’s famous catchphrase, “Hasta la vista baby”.
