Drake has failed to match Bryan Adams’ 1991 record for the most consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

The Canadian rapper’s 15-week reign at the top with One Dance has been ended by Ed Sheeran and fellow Canadian Justin Bieber.

Rock star Bryan, also born in Canada, logged 16 weeks at the top with (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, from the soundtrack to Kevin Costner film Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves.
