THE Easter holidays get off to an entertaining start at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury with two theatre shows for children.
On Tuesday, April 3, the play Tattercoats goes on stage.
Tattercoats is the story of a girl who lives in a castle surrounded by the sea. She is ignored by her grandfather and bullied by the cooks.
She dreams of flying away across the sea, never thinking her dream would come true - but a surprise invitation gives her the chance to travel.
Theatre company Multi Story work their magic on this tale of love and adventure.
The show starts at 2pm.
Ball Pond Bobby, on Thursday, April 5, is a colourful show in which Bobby takes the audience into another world - the world of a child's imagination - swimming through spheres and encountering a universe of mislaid toys, goldfish and balloons.
DNA Theatre Company have devised a special performance for two- to five-year-olds.
Puppetry, visual theatre, dance choreography, and a specially composed soundtrack, give this show added entertainment.
