Mar 13-Nov 30. This year’s Royal Wallingford exhibition presents the remarkable history of the town’s royal connections, beginning with King Alfred and ending with Queen Elizabeth II. There’s more to see this year in ‘Christie to Causton’, with new information and new, rarely seen, photos of the world-famous author at her home in Winterbrook. There’s also plenty to celebrate in our tribute to sporting glories with the Wallingford and the Olympics exhibition. A surprisingly large number of medal winners and Olympians with local connections are featured. Rowing has played a prominent part in these successes, so the ‘Wallingford and Rowing’ exhibition, tells the intriguing history of Wallingford’s rowing clubs, and of the town’s regattas, from Victorian times to the present - a fascinating tale. Open Tue-Sat, 2-5pm. Admission £4 (season ticket).
