Sentencing him to 24 months imprisonment, suspended for 24 months, Recorder James Hay said: “Mr Gruber, this your last chance for this sort of sentence.”

During sentencing at Oxford Crown Court on Friday (May 10), it was heard that police had spotted a known drug user waiting at the top of an alleyway.

Officers waited to see if a drug dealer would arrive and the defendant walked towards the area and then tried to flee, throwing a package and phone over a garden hedge.

He was arrested and his home in Market End Way, Bicester was searched where officers found further drugs, scales and latex gloves.

While in custody, police rang a number associated with drug users from December and January and Gruber’s mobile rang.

Defending Gruber, his barrister said the profits mostly went ‘further up the chain’ and Gruber used his profit for his own drug use.

The teen was also ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work, 35 rehabilitation activity days and 30 sessions of an accredited programme.
