The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

ALAN SHATFORD, 58, of Laburnum Crescent, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Kidlington on March 30 this year with 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by three months, and fined £960. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £384.

FARHAD FAROOQ, 43, of Conway Close, Frimley, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Wallingford on March 3 this year with 76 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months, reduced by 17 weeks, and fined £392. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £157.

RACHEL WALLIS, 46, of Ewelme, Wallingford, pleaded guilty to failing to stop after being the driver of a vehicle whereby damage was caused to another vehicle in a road traffic accident on September 30 last year in The Street, Ewelme. She also pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention. She was fined £666 and had six penalty points added to her driving record. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £266.

DAVID TOVEY, 39, of Mouth Pleasant, Redditch, pleaded guilty to driving on the B4027 Wheatley Road, Islip on September 30 last year with 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was given a community order to complete six months of alcohol treatment and 14 days of rehabilitation activity. He was also disqualified from driving for 40 months. There were court costs of £700 and a victim surcharge of £114.

MARCH SCHAEFFER, 53, of Cricket Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Abingdon Road, Oxford on December 24 last year with 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by three months, and fined £392. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £157.

JAMES PETER, 42, of Cherwell Avenue, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to one count of common assault on December 30 last year and to stealing five bottles of champagne to the value of £300 from Sainsbury’s in Kidlington on the same day. He was given a period of conditional discharge for six months and there were no orders for costs.

LIAM JACKSON, 30, of Buckhurst Crescent, Swindon, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in Banbury on October 13 last year. He was given a community order to complete 100 hours of unpaid and was disqualified from driving for 17 months. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
